Each of the five programs handles verification differently. The different programs verification process is outlined below.

ATAP Victoria has three Verification Officers to conduct all verification visits across Victoria. All our officers have undertaken extensive formal training to complement their industry experience. Every officer with ATAP Victoria holds a statement of attainment in how to communicate and negotiate to conduct a verification audit.

Mary Walsh
Mary Walsh has a strong passion for the tourism industry, particularly in Victoria. Her experience in business management and accreditation processes has been gained through such roles as Manager - Melbourne Maritime Museum, Executive Officer - Sandybeach Adult Education Centre, committee positions including the Yarra River Tourism Association and post graduate qualifications in Hospitality and Tourism. Mary is looking forward to meeting you, getting to know more about your business and supporting its continued development through ATAP Victoria.
Garry Robilliard
Garry Robilliard is married with two adult children and resides in Ballarat. The family operates a property development company, specialising in small housing estates and townhouse developments with an eco friendly overview. Garry owned and operated Motels/Caravan Parks, both in Mandurah WA and Ballarat Vic. He has also been on Tourism boards, Tourism Associations and has presented at seminars on the industry. Garry and his wife have been awarded Finalists in the Victorian Government/Telstra small business awards 2 years in a row. He was also a member of the Victorian Police Force for 12 years. Garry loves the outback, bushwalking and sharing a merlot with friends. He has a great belief that to fail to plan in your business is a plan to fail. Garry has a lot of experience and is looking forward to listening, learning from and if wanted mentoring fellow business operators.
Peter Malone
Peter Malone is a 58 year old married man with three adult children. He has a varied business history having worked as a consultant to General Motors , Alcoa, Esso, and the Metropolitan Fire Brigades Board principally in the field of employee relations. Peter has also had his own business in Tyre retailing and recycling, as well as having interests in the Wine Industry. Peter is an accredited environmental auditor under ISO 14002 and is also currently contracted to undertake data collection for the Australian Bureau of Statistics. His keen interests are Snow Skiing and Golf.
